LOVE WEEK

This week, my church committed to doing nearly 5,000 hours of community service in Hampton Roads in ONE SINGLE WEEK! Every day, tons of WEC'ers having been going out into the community and wearing their LOVE WEEK t-shirts and sharing the love of Christ by being His hands and feet in our very own community! People have been clearing trails, cleaning up the grounds around schools, helping out at carnivals, painting YMCA's and abuse shelters, helping with Habitat for Humanity, reading to children, helping with homework tutoring, and giving TONS of blood with the Red Cross! A lot of Christians just sit back and go to church on Sunday but then don't live out their faith in their daily lives or out in their communities. I am so proud of my church and everyone who participated this week!
